Denverite Brand Identity

After getting its start as a grassroots, online-only, reader-supported news organization, Denverite quickly became known as a source for no-nonsense, neigborhood-focused local journalism. In 2019, Denverite was purchased by Colorado Public Radio and maintains a strong online presence today.

Logos had to cover a spectrum of form factors, be legible at small point-sizes and in black-and-white. The client also requested a bespoke typeface.

“Pete heard how we were talking about the brand and artfully guided the project to several great options -- and helped us settle on a long-term identity that we still love to this day.”

— Denverite Founding Editor Dave Burdick
